Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies cybrvault.com uses, and how you control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. We group them into strictly necessary, analytics, and functional categories.

Strictly necessary (always on)

These keep the site working and secure: session and routing state, form abuse-prevention tokens, and Google reCAPTCHA cookies used to distinguish humans from bots. We also store your cookie choice itself (cybrvault_consent) so we don't ask again on every visit. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics (consent required)

Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) helps us understand which pages and articles are useful, in aggregate. These only load after you accept analytics cookies. We use Google Consent Mode: before consent, analytics storage and any advertising signals are denied.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site retargeting pixels, no fingerprinting, and no sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

Managing your choice

Use the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer to change or withdraw your consent at any time — it reopens the consent banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable, though some conveniences may reset.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: when your browser sends GPC, non-essential cookies stay off unless you explicitly opt in.
